Free Marketing Images and Video a Click Away

Studies show images and videos in marketing make products and services more credible to buyers. Messaging is more believable even when the photos don’t support the point of the text,” says this neuromarketing expert. (In one study cited, the statement “Turtles are deaf” was judged by study participants to be true more often when simply accompanied by a basic photo of a turtle!)

We make it easy for you to add visuals to your marketing campaigns. We offer a large library of free materials: photos, images, videos, infographics and more. Find them on MyDSI by using the Filters tool in the Materials section and clicking on the Marketing Materials category. The materials have been designed to help you promote the benefits of content management services. Moreover, we offer a collection of rebrandable materials where at no charge we’ll add your company name and contact information. You can also request to rebrand portions of select videos.

The free materials are an added value you receive as a Digitech Systems reseller. “We make it easy for our resellers to use our materials and graphics for their own business. Just copy the url for images or video or download the file,” says Kyle Broderick, our Graphic Designer. Rebranded materials can be ordered easily on MyDSI.

Connect better with current and future customers

“The most effective visuals tell a story,” Kyle says. “Based in neuroscience, they show the customer’s current pain contrasted with the benefits they get by using our products to achieve their goals. There are hundreds of available materials, including images and multimedia content, and you can easily filter for various target audiences or industries on MyDSI.”

A couple of Kyle’s favorite tips for using visuals for your websites, advertisements, social posts and other marketing materials.

  1. Save time and money - and produce more relevant and effective visuals - by taking photographs and videos yourself rather than using generic stock pictures or hiring an expensive photographer. "Most of today's cellphones and tablets provide high-quality video and images." If you want some help getting just what you need, "ask a teenager," Kyle recommends, since they're experts in producing images and video for social media.
  2. When it comes to commercial available stock photographs and videos, take advantage of free offerings available from iStock, Pixabay, Pexels, or other online sites but pick carefully. Often, stock images don't resonate well with audiences when they look outdated or too generic. Kyle recommends that you look for images with an original feel or crop more generic images to show a unique view that better resonates with your company's brand.

Visuals in marketing are taking on even more importance as media channels evolve, Kyle says. “I think that we are served so much text content with email and social media, sometimes it’s a breath of fresh air to see a nice visual that you can take in for a moment. I think that’s the value of a nice image. You can explain in a simple way instantly without having to exhaust the customer,” he says.
